Paul Johnson,  is the founding solicitor of the firm and has over 30 years post qualification experience, having worked in private practice, the voluntary sector and as a member of the judiciary in that time.


Paul is committed to running a modern practice, making use of all available technology to ensure the efficient provision of services to the paying clients, who are the lifeblood of any legal practice and at the same time, providing free, or very cost-effective services for those who would otherwise be denied access to the knowledge they need to exercise their rights, or plan their activities, through a lack of means.


Paul has developed expertise in all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, acting for employers and employees. He has been a member of the Employment Lawyers Association from shortly after it was formed.


He was a founding member of the North West Immigration Law Practitioners Association and of the North West Housing Law Practitioners Group. Paul has experience in dealing with private and business immigration matters and in relation to housing law matters, on behalf of tenants and in housing management, in the social rented sector.


Paul has a long-standing reputation for involvement in the wider policy issues around the law and legal practice and was a member of the North Western Legal Services Committee, for many years and was a member of Lord Woolf's Fast Track Working Party, as part of the reform of the Civil Justice System. a


Paul is a trained mediator and can provide mediation in commercial, employment and other civil matters.
